The Dinner Report

Had this idea to share the actual cost of our dinners. I have seen so many TV shows and magazines that are toting the "$10 dinner" and I know a lot of people whose totals are WAY less than $10 (for the whole meal, not per person).
So, here is what we had for dinner 5/19

Hot Dogs and Mac N Cheese
(needed a soft and easy meal after a dental visit,ouch!)
hot dogs-.98 x 2=$1.96(-1.00/2 coupon) Final cost=.96 for 2pkgs (16 hot dogs)
buns .84 x 2=$1.68
mac n cheese= FREE at Kroger last week in the crazy combo deal
condiments from stockpile
total cost for family of 6=$2.64
